“There is a crack in everything.
That’s how the light gets in.”

Leonard Cohen

I have been a counsellor, teacher and trainer in the field for over 20 years.

I currently teach Counselling Skills level I and level II at Vancouver Island University.

I work from a strength-based, feminist perspective that is trauma informed. I incorporate mindfulness, narrative therapy, body-based therapies (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, BBP, Bringing the Body to Practice) and EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I have a Masters degree and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
